Neverwinter is a free-to-play greatly multiplayer online role-playing video game developed by Puzzling Studios and also released by Perfect Globe Enjoyment for Microsoft Windows in 2013, Xbox One in 2015, and PlayStation 4 in 2016. Based upon the imaginary Forgotten Realms city of Neverwinter from Dungeons & Dragons, Neverwinter is a standalone video game and also not part of the previous Neverwinter Nights series.

Alpha members of the Xbox insider program will now receive the chance of a new update that improves the resolution of the dashboards on the Xbox Series X . So far, the resolution of the Home Screens, Guide and other displays outside of Games and Apps was set to Full HD. This resolution is now raised with the new update.

XBox Series X: Update brings new resolution

Microsoft has announced the update in an Xbox blog post. The new resolution should improve the sharpness of the dashboards as well as the text readability . Currently, the update is only available for Xbox insiders of the Alpha-Skip and Alpha Rangs with a 4K display. Whether the new resolution 4K ultra HD will correspond, is also not clear . The blog post only speaks of a sharper resolution.

Next-Gen Console: Insiders get updates first

The Xbox insider program is open to all users and offers both options for previewing updates as well as the message of bugs and glitches. You can register via the App Xbox Insider Hub on your Xbox Series X | S for it. However, the app offers different ranks and both the alpha-skip and alpha rank are accessible only by invitation. Thus, larger updates are always presented only a small number of gamers before they are spared out.

At the moment, the sharper resolution for the Xbox Series X is presented only a few selected users as a preview, while most others still have to wait. For the Xbox Series S, on the other hand, the upgrade is at least not seemingly planned. But this is not a big surprise due to the already slightly slimmed outfits of the console.
