Football second division FC Schalke 04 has brought another winter transfer under roof and compartment.
According to Marius Lode and Andreas Vindheim, S04 presents the South Korean Dong-Gyeong Lee as a third newcom shortly before the end of the change period. This confirmed the area club on Monday after the compulsory medicine check was completed.
The 24-year-old will initially be borrowed for the rest of the Ulsan Hyundai season, Schalke 04 has a purchase option. The club made no information about the amount.
“We have been Dong-Gyeong Lee for some time in the radar. Our boss Scout André Hechelmann has traveled to South Korea to watch him. We are convinced of his development potential,” says Ulsan Hyundai director Rouven Schröder. Lee should now continue to drive the Schalke offensive game with his “excellent” technique.
