Ubisoft Scalar is a cloud service project published by Ubisoft, designed to break the fragile limits of the current game development by utilizing the nearly endless calculation power of the cloud.
Ubisoft Scalar is intended to export the game worlds to the next step through cloud services. In the future, developers would not constitute an inadequacy of hardware but only their imagination. Game worlds therefore grow and they can be more complicated. However, this is not a gaming engine, but a tool for development, which can be used to pay different functions in the game to their own microprocessing. It will be possible to add upgrades and content to the game without cutting off players while all the events of the gaming world are not linked to each other.
Technological development is responsible for Ubisoft Stockholm, but there are other Ubisoft studios in the process; Ubisoft Massive, Ubisoft Bucharest, Ubisoft Kyiv and Ubisoft Redlynx in Helsinki. Although other Ubisoft studios are not involved in development, there is a cloud service in all studios.
